Free FFMI Calculator does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal health information.
Every calculation (body weight, height, body fat percentage, neck/waist/hip measurements, and FFMI results) is executed strictly inside your device's web browser using client-side JavaScript.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
When you use freeffmicalculator.com, the parameters you enter into the interactive calculator never leave your device. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your body weight, height, or gender
- Your body fat percentage or circumference measurements (neck, waist, hip)
- Your computed FFMI score, normalized score, or genetic ceiling predictions
- Your name, email address, or physical location (unless you voluntarily contact us via email)
2. Local Storage & Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party behavioral profiling trackers.
We utilize your browser's native localStorage strictly for user convenience and interface state:
- Theme Mode (
theme): Saves your chosen interface theme (darkorlight) so you don't experience a white flash on subsequent visits.
This data remains solely inside your browser and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
3. Server Logs & Hosting
Like virtually all web applications, the hosting servers and Content Delivery Network (CDN) that deliver the static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and font assets may automatically record standard technical connection metadata in server logs. This may include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Browser user-agent string and device operating system
- Referrer URL and HTTP request timestamp
These logs are processed solely for network diagnostic purposes, DDoS mitigation, and server security, and are never linked to calculator inputs or personal identities.
4. Third-Party Services
To deliver optimal typography and performance:
- Google Fonts: We load the Geist and Geist Mono font families via Google Fonts CDN. Google's privacy policy governs any data transferred during font requests.
- Zero Advertising Networks: We do not integrate Google AdSense, Meta Pixel, or any third-party remarketing tags.
